Our Class Schedule has changed!

Upcoming Leadership classes
We will have a Leadership Class on April 27, May 4, and May 11.
Closed - Memorial Day Weekend
We will be closed Saturday, May 25 and Monday, May 27 in observance of Memorial Day.
Save the date - District Championships!
Murphy ATA will be closed for the South District Championships being held at the Mesquite Convention Center on Saturday, June 8. Master Hornbuckle will be running this tournament and will need a LOT of help from Murphy volunteers! Please see him or Mrs. Simms for more information. Come show your support for our students competing for the title of District Champion!
Upcoming dates to mark down
We will have a mini-tournament on Saturday, June 15, a Color Belt Testing on Tuesday, June 18, and a Black Belt Testing on Friday, June 21! Don't miss them!

What you can expect at Karate for Kids in Murphy
Here at Murphy ATA, we emphasize several life skills, such as:
In our kids' classes, we work on listening skills, focus, and following directions. On the adult level, physical fitness is emphasized, as well as flexibility and self-defense.
In our leadership program, our students learn valuable leadership skills while working on their competition skills, learning to be instructors, and participating in community service events.
We have programs covering several areas of martial arts, including:
- Forms
- Sparring
- Weapons
- Self-Defense
- Extreme Martial Arts (XMA)
- Combat Weapons
- Board Breaks
